NY-Approved Courses
- 77-Hour Pre-Licensing — required to sit for the NY salesperson exam. Evening, online, or 2-week accelerated.
- 22.5-Hour CE — required every 2 years. Always available, evening or online.
- 152-Hour Broker Course — required for the NY broker license.
- 140-Hour Home Inspector Course — includes mock inspections and software training.
NY Salesperson License Requirements (2026)
- Be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED
- Complete the 77-hour pre-licensing course
- Pass the NY State licensing exam (75 questions, 70% to pass)
- Affiliate with a NY licensed broker
- Submit application and fee to NY DOS
