Indiana State Requirements
State Education Requirement: 90 hours of pre-licensing education are required by the state.
Licensing Exam: The state licensing exam is administered by Pearson VUE. Please note that registering for the licensing exam is a separate process from your course final exam. For step-by-step instructions and additional details, click here.
Seat Time Requirement: Students must meet a minimum seat time requirement while completing the course. This is automatically tracked and managed by our online learning platform.
Course Final Exam: To pass the course, students must score at least 75% on the final exam. There is no limit to the number of attempts allowed.
Post-Licensing Education: New brokers must complete 30 hours of state-approved post-licensing education within their first two years of licensure. This 30-hour requirement also fulfills the continuing education requirement for the first two CE cycles. Continuing education will not be required until the third CE year following initial licensure.
